A workshop on Uncertainty Quantification was organised by HiDALGO2, SEAVEA, and CIRCE on Friday 17/11/2023.
The topics that were discussed were the efficient use of supercomputers for UQ, the use of surrogates for UQ, possible cooperation between HiDALGO2 and SEAVEA on a graphical interface for the SEAVEA toolkit and finally preparation of a joint hackathon in 2024. There were 21 participants from EuroHPC JU and CoEs HiDALGO2, EXCELLERAT P2, from SEAVEA, from a German project CIRCE, and one expert in UQ from HLRS, Qifeng Pan.
Presentations were made from SEAVEA, HiDALGO2, CIRCE, and Qifeng Pan.
The agenda of the workshop was as seen below:
13:00 – 13:15 — Welcome
13:15 – 13:45 — SEAVEA: Software Environment for Actionable and VVUQ-evaluated Exascale Applications, Diana Suleimenova
13:45 – 14:15 — HiDALGO2: Introduction to mUQSA portal by Michał Kulczewski, Bartosz Bosak – UQ in HiDALGO2, Flavio Galeazzo
