SIAM (Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics) Conference on Computational Science and Engineering (CSE). CSE complements theory and experiment as a critical component of scientific discovery. CSE is indispensable for leading-edge investigation and engineering design in a vast number of industrial sectors. The SIAM CSE will take place from February 26 until March 3, 2023, at the RAI Congress Centre in Amsterdam.
HiDALGO2 will be there in the mini-symposium of the SIAM Conference on the 1st of March with a lecture on “HPC Applications for Tackling Global and Engineering Challenges Towards Exascale”. In the mini-symposium, the scientific computing framework of two HiDALGO2 CoE applications (urban air pollution and renewable energy sources) and two methodologies (scalable uncertainty quantification and agent-based modelling methods) will be presented in detail.
