The last two months have been very active for our partner, the Széchenyi István University from Hungary.
In March 2024, Kornyei Laszlo from Széchenyi István Egyetem had the chance to introduce our project, HiDALGO2 at the “HPC Matching Day”, organised by the Hungarian Governmental Agency for IT Development (KIFÜ) in Budapest. More specifically, he had the chance to present the results of the Urban Air Project use case with a focus on results on the Hungarian NCC’s new supercomputer, Komondor. The HPC Matching Day was addressed to current and future #HPC users in academics and industry aiming to foster new collaborations.
Later, in April 2024, Zoltán Horváth from the Széchenyi István Egyetem joined the event organised by the Scientific Computing Institute Association in Budapest, which was devoted to HPC activities in Hungary. The Hungarian NCC presented the HPC infrastructure and Zoltán Horváth introduced the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) activities in general and the HiDALGO2 Project, namely the Urban Air Project use case. Attendants from Universities and HPC users showed special interest in our project and made suggestions for potential collaborations in the future.
