The 4th Baltic HPC and Cloud Conference in Riga ον April 11-12, 2024 was a good opportunity to to pitch on the HiDALGO2 project. Namely, our partner from HLRS – High-Performance Computing Center Stuttgart , Davide Padeletti, participated in a presentation during the “#CoE pitch session. “The conference provided a fantastic platform to discuss advancements in HPC and Cloud computing, and I enjoyed connecting with fellow researchers and industry professionals”, he says.
The 4th Baltic HPC and Cloud Computing Conference, was organised this year by the National Competences Centres located near the Baltic Sea region, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark.
The conference featured a lot of new topics, including talks on innovative uses of HPC and Cloud computing and presentations about HPC/Cloud computing services ranging from EuroHPC Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) supercomputers to Quantum Computing. The conference will be especially relevant for different research communities that use HPC, including students, HPC experts, and industry.
